In this day and age we have become numb to the effects of our environment; we are numb to the perv-i-ness of the world around us; and we are dumbed down to the lowest common denominator. The Internet has become the greatest contributor to bring people together, creating a collective consciousness, and allowing you to get whatever you want whenever you want.
We are an instant gratification society; we are a throw away society; and we like to show off exactly how stupid we actually are.
The Internet has made TV into it’s bitch, and there are very few who seek to stop it.
At a moment in time where the Internet is still burgeoning, and access to almost nothing is controlled. Faster, blips, dots flip and flop across the screen. Video kills the radio star, and its reported on TV. Internet kills the TV star and its reported on the Internet. Content is king, and it is everywhere. Produced by zeros. Produced by ones.
In recently months I have setup a wonderful experiment where I am c0nstantly bombarded by TV day and night, all channels all the time in attempt to understand why we do the things we do.
I have been hooked up to a telegraph machine and during advertising breaks I use my eyelids to communicate to this blog via Morse Code. No longer will this blog be typed by hand. They will now be typed by eyelid.
And so the experiment begins…
